The inaugural edition of the  World Athletics Club – a light-hearted chat show to preview the races from an athlete’s perspective as well as some features on legends of the sport past and present.

During the European Athletics Championships in Berlin, I was one of the lead commentators on the European Athletics livestream. The crowning finish to an incredible week of competition was the men’s pole vault, which saw 18-year-old Mondo Duplantis clear 6.05m – a world u20 and championships record – to secure his first major title. Below is some of my commentary on one of the greatest pole vault competitions in history.

As a communications consultant a lot of work I do is around helping athletes grow their own brand across digital channels as well as understand effective storytelling. This presentation forms part of a project to grow skills amongst athletes and looks at best practices for athletes as content creators.
